Precision CNC Machining of an Aluminum Gear Drive
Alpine Precision CNC machined this 6061-T6 aluminum housing for a Z-drive transmission gear assembly. We handled the milling, drilling, counterboring and tapping as well as the mechanical inspection for our SEM/FIB semiconductor client.
The finished part measured 4.515″ long, 4.295″ wide and 2.33″ high, and met tolerance of +/-.005″. Our delivery/turnaround time was three to four weeks and we now produced 100 units per year for this client. For more information on the CNC machining we provided for this gear drive assembly housing project, please see the chart below or contact us directly.
